My name is Tom Smith and
I have been a collector of Cavalry Horse Equipment for over 30 years. I have
been reproducing quality cavalry goods for the past 6 years with very
favorable responses from my customers.
To show the wide range of my talent in this field, I have started to
reproduce the experimental canvas horse equipment of the 1870's and 80's.
and some Officers equipments from 1910-1940s . I promise that all items we
make will be of utmost quality and will be as historically correct as can be
produced. My goal is to become top in my field and I will not scrimp to
achieve top quality in my products.

1.) When picking the right size
McClellan seat, use the following rule of thumb:
Up to 150 lbs. 1 1 in. Seat
Up to l80 lbs. 1ll/2in. Seat
Over 180 lbs. 12 in. Seat
2.) When using a McClellan
saddle, especially with a buckle type girth, always use a surcingle to help keep the
saddle in the right position. It could save your life.
3.) Always check all straps to be
sure they’re in sound shape and free of bad wear areas. This could also save you from
a bad spill or worse.
The work I do is custom made to order. I do not
have a warehouse of inventory. I do each order as it comes in, to the customer’s
wishes. Therefore, there are no cash refunds. If at any time you get a product
and are not satisfied, returns must have prior authorization either by phone or
in writing. All returns are subject to our approval and at that point credit
will be determined. As always, I will do my best to guarantee customer
satisfaction.
Delivery Time 30 - 90 days on most items. Some items will be shipped within 30
days or less if possible. Please include phone number on the order form so I can
contact you if there are any questions. Shipping will be by UPS fully insured or
US Priority Mail unless otherwise notified.
Payment Minimum order is $25.00. Payment in full at time of order to be made by
Cashier Check or Money Order payable to Thomas Smith. SORRY - No C.O.D.‘s or
Credit Cards.
Due to the fact that I can not over-see the
correct use and care of my Reproduction Equipment. I can not be held responsible
for injury or damages, due to misuse or alterations made to said equipment.
If complete sets are ordered 10% discount will given to (headstall, reins, girth
(cincha), halter and lead of the set) Discount is not included for saddles. The
discount will be given to all model sets (M59, M74, M85, M93, M04, M28).
I will take McClellan Seats in trade on a job by job basis , price is determined
at that time. If you don’t see it in the catalog please ask , as I will make
custom items, just not enough room to list all in the catalog.
